Das Studium "Visual Computing" an der staatlichen "Universität des Saarlandes" hat eine Regelstudienzeit von 4 Semestern und endet mit dem Abschluss "Master of Science". Der Standort des Studiums ist Saarbrücken. Das Studium wird als Vollzeitstudium angeboten. Insgesamt wurde das Studium bisher 6 Mal bewertet. Best university for visual computing
I loved my town and university. Best days of my life. Most learning I had in my life both personally and technically.
Peaceful town, amazing variety of students from various countries. Professors were exceptional. Especially Dr. Joachim Weickert.
My fundamentals are strong because of Saarland.
First Semester review
This is my first semester studying visual computing and I think it has been pretty good so far. The course pushes you to think and to implement what you've understood which makes it even more fun. It is not for the faint hearted. The courses are tough and do require lots of self preparation. So I would only recommend it to people actually interested in image processing.
Good program for research based studies
Experienced researchers, lots of opportunities for research assistance positions during studies, and also other hiwis. Good master programs enabling you especially for a PhD afterwards. Also offer free of cost German courses which is superb. Just not well known in industrial sector making job seeking difficult.
A look into the future
As a Visual Computing student at UdS, you get a front seat view of the most state-of-the-art research being carried out in the domains of computer vision, graphics, and AI. The research centers affiliated with the uni, such as DFKI and MPII, have some of the world's best researchers in the fields of Visual Computing and AI.
