its best feature is connections to ecb, bundesbank etc which are mostly not available to non europeans. ecb hires only europeans and while bundesbank is more open, it is still hard
most of the successful students are germans with some exceptions. they take a huge amount of people and most international people will drop out. there are ofcourse exceptions but most of those exceptions also either were already living in germany or have a european passport.
so if you are an international student considering to come to germany for the first time, the advice will be to consider other options.
