Good introduction to Econ Grad school

The first year content is reminiscent of very good masters programs. However, one should be prepared for the Highly mathematical content. I find that it is very important to get organized quickly in order to pass the qualifiers on the first try. Also try to get past exam papers.

no funding, toxic environment, bad management, mediocre faculty, german bureaucracy,
its best feature is connections to ecb, bundesbank etc which are mostly not available to non europeans. ecb hires only europeans and while bundesbank is more open, it is still hard

Herausfordernde Inhalte

Anspruchsvolle Inhalte und ich habe es geschafft, viele übertragbare Fähigkeiten wie Programmieren zu lernen. Die Struktur des Programms könnte besser sein, manchmal ist es schwierig, nach Verwaltungsinformationen zu suchen. Es war insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung.
Respected, but demanding

Still, right now I am working and the degree of quantitative finance is quite respected :)
The slight problem is that it is too demanding and requires a log of time and effort to keep going. The cohort is great, so it's a good environment to learn.
Also, I have to say that the university professors are really good and teach high quality material.
