Vorheriger Bericht
Respected, but demanding
Do not recommend: Bad organisation and management
Quantitative Economics, Quantitative Finance und Quantitative Marketing (M.Sc.)
The programme management is horrible with very little support for international students. The program has inadequate funding and the program admits far more people than they can support which results in most people leaving by the end of the first year.
The program is suitable for Germans or Europeans who are interested in macroeconomic or finance studies, and otherwise not suitable.
Most lecturers are sub-par and the organisation is a mess. German bureaucracy is a mess in general, but GSEFM organisation and management is particularly nightmarish due to it being semi-autonomous and a collaboration between three different universities. It creates more discomfort than actual, tangible benefits.
