Lecture courses give you a helicopter-view summary of modern neuroscience research. After that, you choose several from the long list of various lab rotations in top-notch research institutions in the Frankfurt area. There, you get hands-on with topics that interest you the most. Then, you can decide where would you prefer to do a master project. I think that it is a perfect setting for seeing the large picture and making an educated choice for your future deeper research.
Organizers are very helpful and responsive, which is also very important for a study program, especially for foreigners experiencing an unfamiliar education system.
  • flexibility, theory vs practice ratio, diversity, top-level research institutions involved, responsive organizers
