Freude an der Wissenschaft
Promotes independent, free-spirit research
I absolutely loved my Master Programme! It is very adjustable to the field of interest and therefore a different experience for everyone. There are not many lectures, most of the time is spent gaining hands-on experience in different research groups.
The responsibles have an open ear and flexibly respond to the students' problems.
Experience abroad is encouraged throughout the programme and it is easy to conduct modules externally.
I would however say that you should be motivated and bring your own interest in order to make the best of it - but the chances are there. Openly talk about your projects of interest and be self-organized - this makes the greatest difference in your experience.
In the past semesters I found myself in another everyday-life every few weeks.
The only negative aspect here is that I sometimes had organisational problems with my part-time student job, because I could not fix a regular working schedule during the week.

- research oriented, flexible, good contact to responsibles
- difficult to combine with fixed job schedules
