It's beautiful
Well I love it so far. I should say, so far so good. I love the size of my class. I'm more effective in that kind of class. I think it's the best class I have had so far. It's my first time studying away from home and if I could compare, I would say my classmates here are more respectful of people's opinions in class, they are more respectful of Any question that arises. There are no right or wrong questions. So it's a safe space to ask about anything that is unclear. I could not recall a time in my life where I would be ready to ask about any slight thing I do not understand knowing that I am in a place where my understanding is of great importance. Our Professors are amazing, I call all of them Professor which might not be welcomed by just one of them who I later discovered, allowed the class to call him by just the short form of his first name. I thought that was so cool. Our Professors are the best I should say, they are ready to explain something you haven't understood. I get the feeling of, " I am on your support team at any one time, don't be shy. You can trust me with your question. Let's deal with it and help you to understand that" So I make great use of my time in class to understand what they are trying to say. One of my professors likes to say, "So far so good?" And right at that point is your breakthrough moment if you haven't yet understood a thing since the class started. There's just one thing she probably missed for me in particular, that was uploading the slides we commented on during the lecture times. A big thank you to the Professors that ensured to upload slides we have commented on in class, they make revision and studying a whole lot easier. It creates a connection between what one is studying and what was talked about in class. I arrived a little late for the winter semester, but my Math Professor was extremely supportive. We had a tutorial as well which helped us a lot in internalizing what was talked about in the Math class. Then my Marketing and Management Professor was, I don't even have the right words to describe him. Let's just go with supportive, friendly, welcoming, ready to listen, etc He will know everyone's name in class. We all know how cool that feels when the Professor knows your name. You will agree with me. You will meet him on your way to another class, and he will give you a very warm smile, and you will know you are accepted. He will even forget he left you with one of his books. Oh I didn't mention he doesn't like sending him very many emails. You want to send him a few emails. Then I think if you are a person that loves law, then you will enjoy that class as well. It was super interesting. I checked our future semesters and never found a module related to law, shall miss law. Generally my Professors were super awesome. I am now used to all their teaching methods, yet sadly, they aren't teaching us next semester. Now I have to learn the next teaching styles of the Professors in this soon to come summer semester.
