Multiculturality, Team-Work & Project Development
I had the opportunity to enhance my team-working skills by developing projects together with other international students. Moreover, I took part into a project abroad, spending one week in Costa Rica, working on a Hotel Development project with other classmates. This experience definitely helped me improving problem-solving and time management abilities, putting what I learnt in theory into practice.
Great intercultural environment
By studying at MITM I had the opportunity to study together with people coming from all over the world. Having a direct insight on different cultures and perspective is actually better than anything you could ever learn from books.
The programm is well planned and I feel like I have acquired useful skills for my future job.
Some professors are really inspiring and well prepared.
I have excellent experiences!
I have been gaining many great experiences during the last 8 months. My knowledge broadens deeply in different fields such as sustainable tourism, intercultural etc which are very helpful for my career.
Teaching method is flexible and dynamic which enhance self-confident, public speaking skill and connect to practical works.
Overview of current tourism-related topics
- An amazing opportunity to study abroad in a Master degree course that is taught entirely in English!
- Stay abroad experience in a comparatively small german city with close proximity to the regions of Stuttgart and other popular german cities.
- An opportunity to engage in an international destination project during the second semester.
- Affordable tuition fees and standard of living in Heilbronn.
Practical and concrete study
I found interesting studying in MITIM as I had the opportunity to apply what studying immediately on the field, working on real business cases and getting straight to the point, without loosing too much time on theoretical aspects.
I also find teacher well prepared and some of them are so passionate about their subject, that they can make you really get into it.
Unexpected improvement of myself
Before coming, I did not think that Heilbronn would bring me that much.
In only one semester I learnt how to be patient and how to cope with many different cultures in project groups, not an easy task. Thanks to some lectures and professorat, I now know how to analyse deeper a topic and decrypt/bring out challenges faced. I am more confident when talking in english as every student is from abroad and every one of us need to improve. There is no judgement, it is an healthy environment and atmosphere with available teachers and administration.
International learning environment
I like the Master programme International Tourism Management.
The best thing is that the group is so international. There are students from all parts of the world and the network we build up is great. The structure of the program itself is good but some professors could improve their lectures by making them more engaging for the class. In those lectures I don't see big differences between Bachelor's and Master's level. Of course - that's not true for every lecture.
