Quantitative Economics, Quantitative Finance und Quantitative Marketing (M.Sc.)
The programme management is horrible with very little support for international students. The program has inadequate funding and the program admits far more people than they can support which results in most people leaving by the end of the first year.
The program is suitable for Germans or Europeans who are interested in macroeconomic or finance studies, and otherwise not suitable.

This is a research oriented master program only suitable for those students who have the required math background. It is the first two years of the phd program at GSEFM.
Pros:
Good faculty, standard graduate level coursework, great research opportunities, no tuition fees, synergies between uni Darmstatd and uni Mainz, flexibility in the second year, strong in macro and finance, positive externalities of location at the heart of Frankfurt.

Good, but can be better.
Quantitative Economics, Quantitative Finance und Quantitative Marketing (M.Sc.)
This programme has phd level coursework and one must have the required mathematics background in order succeed in the first year. Exams are very difficult. The teaching pace is very fast.
There is no funding for master students even though the course content is same as the phd programme. Administration is bad, students are left to figure out important things all by themselves.
