Information systems have been playing a central role in the economy and administration for a long time
The range of tasks in information system continuousexpandsand due to digitization and networking. Employers exprom graduates of business information systems they take on tasks wthatare to be completed in international teams or abroad. In order to meet these demands, Faculty 2 and 3 offer the seven-semester long international bachelor's degree course Business Information Systems

Methodologic, linguistic and communication technological key competencies are also taught next to technical foundations (particularly in math, computer science, business administration and law) during the first semesters. During this time, you will also complete an English course, which will prepare you for the participation in English lectures and stays abroad at international partner universities at a later point in time.
Afterwards, you will focus on selected core areas of business information systems, computer science and business administration. At the end of this study phase, you will choose one of the two focus areas 'controlling' or 'customer relations management and privacy.
You can gather experience in an international environment if you take part in an optional semester abroad at one of our partner universities.
The practice-oriented semester offers you the chance to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in companies within Germany or abroad. First contacts to first employers are usually established during this internship.
The final business information systems project in combination with the bachelor's thesis allows you to work on demanding tasks in accordance with the scientific guidelines at the institution of higher education or within a company.
