Fit for your dream job in ML or Data Analytics

I have just finished my master and am extremely satisfied with the course of studies and the university overall. From the professors to the secretaries from the different departments, you get the impression that everybody is interested in your success.
The size of the university and of the classes lets you experience a familiar atmosphere where you soon develop a sense of belonging.

The course of studies „Machine Learning and Data Analytics“ has an amazing combination of features:
- there is a core group of courses in machine learning and data analytics where you get a solid foundation on these subjects. There, you have to complete projects with real datasets (no toy datasets) so you feel prepared for real work.
- there are three courses that you can choose to personalize your studies. You can choose these courses from other master studies. I - for example- chose them from Business Informatics
- there is a seminar (equivalent to 1 course) and a project (equivalent to two courses) where you have to do a project by yourself. You learn here a LOT. These you can also do in your favourite subject.
- The thesis you can do at the university, at a company, or at a research institute. This allows you also to to get targeted practical experience. I like research, so I did my thesis at the Fraunhofer IOSB, but fellow students did their thesis at the university, or at companies in the region.

Overall, at the end of your studies, you will have all the theoretical knowledge and the practical experience that you need to get your dream job in ML or Data Science.

Last but not least, Aalen has a beautiful landscape. The small city center has nice Cafés where you can hang out with friends. The thermal bathes, cross-country slopes, and gyms offer an excellent relax from studies. There’s an indoor pool and they’re building a new indoor-outdoor pool that will be ready in 2024.
