Research-oriented cognitive neuroscience program

I am currently in my first semester in NCP. So far I have really been impressed by the extent of materials covered in our courses, ranging from basic neuroscience to EEG. Courses are not confined to theoretical training but they also provide practical research experience from the very beginning. I should say that the program is highly research oriented and might not be appropriate for people, who do not consider an academic career. As to areas of improvement, I think the program could be more integrated in the GSN. It is stated that NCP is a part of the GSN but there is little contact between these two. I would like to be more integrated in the general neurosciences research at LMU. Overall, however, I can say that NCP is a competitive master program in cognitive neuroscience.
