Great Experience with Novel methods and strat...
Great concept, but not well executed
There were many incidents, where there were no structure, no plan and no communication whatsoever, both between the uni and the students and between lecturers. Exam times were too short (knowingly), problems with electives (not enough electives in English (for an English program)) but no one intended to take the students feedback into account to solve issues like that. Even in compulsive modules, some of the lecturers did not even find it necessary to provide slide in English, instead it seemed like they took old slides from lectures they held in the Bachelors program, which is in German. "Current" data from almost 20 years ago was presented, questions about topics that were never discussed in class were part of exams, etc. The topics are really interesting, and if you make the effort, you can learn a lot, but be prepared for a lot of waiting and not getting answers, since emails to the student advisors take forever to get answered, if they get answered at all.
- Interesting field
- Bad organization, not enough involvement of lecturers, not enough electives to chose from
Wie reagiert deine Hochschule auf die Corona-Krise?
Lectures were partially online and partially on campus. Some lectures were even offered in a hybrid format. For the most part the experience during the pandemic was alright except for certain seminars where online supervision was simply inappropriate for the kind of topic/task.
