Critical reflection of society
I'm in my third semester of CCE now and I would put the study program in a nutshell as a critical reflection on society, especially concerning three dimensions: politics, philosophy and economics. CCE distinguishes itself from other study programs (like PPE) in that it not only analyses the societal dynamics but also informs the students of possible ways of approaching change, accordingly. Citizen engagement and social movements are an important topic there.
So in conclusion, CCE provides you with the skills to critically reflect on the societal dynamics and gives you the tools to bring about change in a manner that is both theoretically informed and practically viable.

Wie reagiert deine Hochschule auf die Corona-Krise?
Very well. Out of those I know, Karlshochschule has the best resources as well as strategies to continue safe teaching despite the pandemic. Certainly, this is mainly because of its financial resources as a private university, but still: the uni cares about the mental health of its student and a safe in-person teaching as much as possible.
