Sustainability and Engagement
Interesting just on the surface
The marketing behind the programme is really good, you have the impression it is well organised and it conveys solid knowledge. Sadly, just the first applies, the organisation is there (although there are no established relationships with companies/institutes for finding internships/jobs or writing your thesis). In my opinion, the academic part is too weak. After two years I feel I cannot give a straight answer to the common but important question 'what can you do with your master?'. By this, I mean that we did not get specific tools/methodologies to tackle complex problems. Most of the classes dealt with theories of social, individual behaviour. We were swimming in between concepts but rarely employed them to plan/implement solutions. And when the modules dealt with applied knowledge, they went by too fast and it was impossible to grasp something more than an general view. On this point, you study one module at a time, which lasts for 3 weeks. The idea behind this would be to enhance specialisation, but unfortunately, it conveys the contrary. I believe it is quite helpful for the time-management of Professors and lecturers, but not for the students because there is simply not enough time to dig deep in the topics.
There are positive aspects too (again, the organisation of trips, excursions, ...), but overall I wouldn't recommend this master to a friend.

- Well organised excursions, trips, administrative matters. Friendly administrative personnel. Lovely city.
- Not solid knowledge on how to tackle/handle complex problems (which is the motto of the programme)
