Well-balanced ecotoxicology program
The masters is well-balanced between theoretical lectures and practical block courses, ensuring that students are prepared for a wide range of jobs in the field of ecotoxicology (PhD, chemical companies, research institutions...). The first semester is way more intense than the semesters after, but it is very manageable and provides you with sufficient background to start your industry/academic internship already in the second semester. It is also a very beautiful region of Germany with a lot of nature, and even though Landau is a small city, it has a lot of activities you can explore.

- Relatively small number of students ensures close contact with professors, who are always easy to reach and are very helpful. Students get a lot of lab and projects practice.
- Some organizational processes could be improved (e.g., issues with receiving exam grades/credits). Limited amount of academic journals that you can access online through the university.
