Poor range of courses, but friendly atmosphere
In my opinion the range of provided courses is quite poor (WS 23/24). For people from Computer Science area there are not so many good courses, as some require chemistry knowledge, while others are about CS and therefore useless. Perhaps for people from Saarland Bioinformatics BSc it’s better. Learning new advancements
The course paved way to learn new technological advancements in the field of bioinformatics and its branch studies. But needs improvements in the field of courses, organisation and study plan to make it more relevant as most of the courses is irrelevant to the study.
DNA long read sequencing
I’m working with the center of bioinformatics on a DNA long read sequencing research which is a really fast growing and useful field, i am aiming to introduce more people to the research and develop more efficient and advanced techniques in the field of bioinformatics and DNA sequencing.
Enjoyable and interesting but a little hard
