Am in the last semester of my studies, so I experienced two corona semesters: while the campus is beautiful and modern, the people are nice (extremely diverse student body, which I enjoyed!), and the professors are also friendly, I found the content, organisation and teaching quality of many lectures very lacking. There is little practical experience (except for self-organized internships), the modules are often far from reality or even with outdated content, while sustainability was often just an afterthought. This is with exception of a few very dedicated, kind and well-trained professors/lecturers who gave us the opportunity to think critically and explore new ideas.

Despite it being a new university, I experienced to some degree an outdated and harmful mentality of "weeding out" students with basic courses, which are taught with little connection to the agricultural context, which concerned me for future students. The quality of English from some of the professors is also somewhat lacking.

Sadly, I do not feel prepared to enter a practical agricultural-related job after this study course, and I am very concerned that students exiting this course might not be taken seriously by farmers or agricultural experts with the training provided.

While the university was founded to bring more trained labour into the region, I feel that the leadership of the university has instead only succeeded in increasing the quantity of students beyond the housing capacity of Kleve, without improving the quality of their learning experience. If I could choose again, I would do a bachelors in any other German university known for agricultural science.

Wie gut ist deine Hochschule digital aufgestellt? The computers/operating systems are in some cases older than the university itself (2009). On the other hand, the IT is very friendly and there are some good remote student jobs. The digital lectures were poor, luckily we have in person lectures again. Most professors put their slides up onto Moodle and are normally easily available via email.

Verglichen wird die Aussage des Rezensenten mit den Angaben der Kommilitonen des Studiengangs.

Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln finde ich sehr gut.
Ich finde immer einen Parkplatz.
Mit den Öffnungszeiten des Sekretariats bin ich sehr zufrieden.
Ich bin der Auffassung, dass die Luft in den Hörsälen ok ist.
Meiner Meinung nach ist der Ruf unserer Hochschule nicht gut.
Ich sage, dass an dieser Hochschule kein Flirtfaktor vorhanden ist.
Ich bezeichne die Hochschule als teilweise barrierefrei.
Ich fahre meist mit dem Fahrrad zur Hochschule.
Ich beurteile mein Studium als sehr theoretisch.
Ich bin der Ansicht, das Studium ist zu leicht. Der Anspruch könnte höher sein.
Ein paar meiner Dozenten kommen sogar aus der Praxis.
Für mich ist der Studienverlauf ein komplettes Chaos.
Neben dem Studium habe ich einen Studentenjob.
Wenn ich eine Zeitmaschine hätte, würde ich diesen Studiengang nicht nochmal wählen.
Meine Eltern haben auch studiert.
Ich habe ein Auslandssemester absolviert.
Festivals sind nichts für mich.
Ich fühle mich durch mein Studium nicht gut auf das Berufsleben vorbereitet.
