Environmental and Resource Management (B.Sc.)

I´m still in the first semester of ERM in Cottbus but I already regret it a little. The city is great and cheap but the professors have the thickest accent. All of them. Its hard to focus on the material when the teachers cant pronounce simple words like infinity, determine or surface. I do not regret coming to Cottbus to study, because the city is an amazing student city with many interesting people from all over the world. It is not a big university, so you see people you know everywhere you go. However, reflecting on the study program, I would not recommend it.

Der Studiengang befasst sich auf eine sehr breit gefächerte Art und Weise mit der Thematik des Umweltmanagements und vermittelt dabei auf der einen Seite Grundlagen aus wissenschaftlichen Teilbereichen, sowie der Wirtschaft, der Soziologe und dem Rechtswesen. Spezifischere aktuelle Problematiken zu dem eigentlichen Thema des Studiengangs werden hier allerdings nur sehr kurz und oberflächlich gehalten.
