An idealized study program

Coming from a wide variety of background, the student body shows a diversity of academic expertise as the program admission office does not reject people based on the relevance of each student’s studies to that of the program. That can lead to an all-encompassing first semester in which it was mandatory that students should pass a number of courses ranging from business ethics to mathematics. It was a bit unnecessary in my opinion because you only have two years in a master’s program and I feel reluctant to spend a semester going through stuff I already learned in my undergrad studies or stuff that does not directly contribute to my future studies. I hope they could lose or at least cut down on the mandatory courses in the first semester and allow students to take courses in their specialization fields. I will feel more motivated to study more that way.
