Optical technologies are everywhere

The study of optical technologies is a combination of physics and mechanical engineering. One should have a knowledge about properties and behavior of light, including the construction of instruments and how it is used to detect the interactions. Our contact lenses, smartphones, microscopes all are examples. Familiarizing with optical tools such as Zemax helps in our studies. Strong understanding of physics and mathematics and its application are required for the studies. The course provided in the university is a well planned.
