Suitable for Finance, Banking, Controlling career

This program contents is okay if you want to have career in Finance, Banking, Controlling. Good reputation with big companies near Nuremberg

The study workload is intensive to finish in 3 semesters as stated on program website. They usually take 4-5 semesters. Lecture time in class is not enough to cover all materials, you have to teach yourself a lot.

Finance courses, overall Professors in finance are competent in delivering knowledge and give practical experience. Often have group projects. Except for the course Corporate Valuation of Prof H., we find very difficult to understand his teaching/ explanation (confirm by most of classmates)

Economics courses: way too deep of economics while almost all students in this program choose finance track. Economics itself is already abstract, hard to follow.

The most difficult course of the program is International Economics from Prof M. The course itself is theoretical, abstract and the way Prof teach makes it even more abstract. His slides are short cut from A-D while it should be A-B-C-D for students to understand. He expect student to focus 100% and write down everything of his explanation (not filling in a blank or a graph but a lot of additional explanation) but not all students can follow 100% in class considering they don't have very profound economics knowledge. At least students need some good materials to study on their own if they can not follow in class.

Except for 300 pages of slides, additional reading papers are a lot and they will be tested too. More than 50% students have to take this course 2-3 times to pass, which make graduation in 3 semesters not that possible. Since it's mandatory so students just want to pass this course and focus on their finance track.
