Practical Relevance
I am in the second semester now. I found CBS International Business School quite good. Specially for finance, CBS has excellent professors. The content is very practical. I really enjoyed the business project with PWC this semester. The workload from this business project was high as it was a mix of finance, cost accounting, operation management and business strategy. I also liked the inclusion of some accounting and tax modules along with all the finance modules in the M.Sc. program. Although the library is quite small, I never had problems with finding the books I needed. Considering the current situation because of the Corona Pandemic, CBS is doing a way better job than other business schools with its digital form of teaching.
Although, most of the courses are quantitative, a small amount of courses are non-numerical which I personally do not like because I hate memorizing (I would love to have every single course as a quantitative course). It's not a criticism to the program structure. It's just my personal choice. Again, CBS is not a traditional university. It's a business school. So it focuses more on the practical relevance instead of focusing on preparing its students to become researchers. It's a good business school for anyone who wants to work in a company or establish his own startup after finishing the study.
