Throughout my education in gottingen, everything was new to me as international student from iraq. The help i received was enormous from professors and students as well. Master of Data science can be very mathematically heavy. It is important to ask for help on every step of the way.
Otherwise you will get lost in the mix. Also one of the things that you need to understand is that the specialization there if you get involved in one and you found your self not interested in that field. You need to chan he before it is too late. I would also to start getting your hands dirty by selecting 3 seminars at the beginning of the r semester so you can learn lot as well as build connections with your professors, so you can get job easily in lab or certain institutions that require the skills that you built in the seminar. These tips i wish i had knew about it when i started because i just came from iraq and my first experience in germany and Europe as whole.
