Last Year Student at UE Experience
Overall, my experience as a student at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences studying Digital Business & Data Science has been neutral. I appreciate the flexibility of the program and the wide range of topics that are covered. I have also had the opportunity to learn from experienced professors and industry professionals.
One of the things that I like most about the program is the flexibility. I am able to choose my lecture to attend online or at campus courses. This is especially helpful because I am also working half- time an intern and moving between work and campus can be unattanaible.
I also appreciate the wide range of topics that are covered in the program. I have learned about everything from business strategy to data analysis to machine learning. This has given me a broad understanding of the digital business landscape. However the application is very theoritical and not really practical for real world use or in my professional career.
The professors at UE are also very experienced and knowledgeable. They are always willing to help students and answer questions. I have also had the opportunity to learn from industry professionals through guest lectures and workshops.
However, there are a few things about the program that I do not like. One thing is that the workload is very small. I have found that I have a lot of free time, which can be tempting to use for other lead to instead of studying. This can lead to me feeling unprepared for exams.
Another thing that I do not like is the very high flexibility of the lectures, which can sometimes grant mediocre lectures and learning. I have found that some of my professors are not as engaged as they could be, and their lectures can be boring. This can make it difficult to stay focused and learn the material.
Overall, I am happy with my decision to study Digital Business & Data Science at UE. I have learned a lot and I am confident that my degree will help me to achieve my career goals. However, I think that the program could be improved by increasing the workload and requiring professors to be more engaged in their lectures.
