Wonderful enriching experience

The M.A African Studies at Uni Leipzig has definitely been one of the most enriching experiences I ever got to live. For real. I already knew that education was important. As an African immigrant myself, I left my country to find and get better education. And I can definitely say that I have found it here in Leipzig.
During the whole Master’s, we were trained to further develop our critical thinking, to question things, to be careful with absolute statements. We, students, were being treated as equals and adults. Our contributions were not only expected but valued. The floor was open for discussions and debates. The workload was sometimes overwhelming, but that was to be expected. At some point, you get the hang of it. The professors are just great: empathetic humans, always ready to help, to listen and to support. I couldn’t have made a better choice.
Long story short: I have been loving my Master’s.
