Amazing Experience
Grateful for studying S.I. at EAH Jena
EAH Jena, along with it's student-friendly environment, consists of qualified, competent, and capable Teachers, Professors, and Staff. Equal amount of effort is given to teach Theoretical as well Practical classes. Their labs are very well equipped. The campus (which consists of 5 buildings for classes and labs and 4 other buildings that you have to see for yourself!) is beautiful and mesmerizing to look at. The library catalogue is diverse; you can find literally anybook you want! There are two mensas here at EAH, both serving uncompromisingly quality food with a different menu consisting of dishes from several nationalities, everyday.
The subject that I am studying, i.e., MSc in Scientific Instrumentation, has been designed in a way to bring students from different backgrounds, such as Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Physics, upto the same level of knowledge. In the 2nd semester, you get to choose from a selection of topics provided, so that you can hone your skills according to your needs.
You are assigned a setlist number, with which you get a well-designed timetable for the semester that you are in. Thus you can get plenty of time for yourself as well.
Lecture halls are huge, with standard teaching equipments which consist of, but are not limited to, large touchscreen monitors, projectors, 3 or more big greenboards, etc.
Teachers, Professors, and the Staff are very communicative, and easy to approach. They will try and help you with the very best of their abilities.

Wie reagiert deine Hochschule auf die Corona-Krise?
Everyone has been asked to wear mask on campus, during classes and labs (in person). If, for some reason, the Teacher/Professor is unavailable, recored lectures are provided at moodle, powered by BigBlueButton.
Also, new students who came to jena were also reminded to wear mask in public transportations, and maintaing social distancing as and when required and deemed necessary.

Ich bin froh über die sehr moderne Ausstattung der Seminarräume und Hörsäle.Auch 57% meiner Kommilitonen freuen sich über die sehr moderne Ausstattung. -
Die Wohnungssuche war echt schwierig.57% meiner Kommilitonen empfanden die Wohnungssuche als nicht so einfach, aber dennoch okay.
