Corona - Digitales Studieren
Ein Ozean mit einer Tiefe von wenigen Zentimetern
120-worth-of-credits program compressed into 90 credits.
In the 1st semester, most of the compulsory lectures are related to the principles of thermodynamics and power plant operations. The 2nd semester is mainly about the principles of power transportation and grid operation. Usually, the last semester is only focused on the master thesis. Additionally, there are some credits related to the energy market and data engineering subjects.
Due to the compact structure of the program, some subjects which should have been offered individually, are taught as one. This results in barely mentioning the important aspects of the subject and prevents from developing proper knowledge.
Additionally, renewable technologies such as biomass and hydrogen are not offered, but the already offered subjects solar systems and wind energy are designed well.
In some subjects, the lecturers had no background in teaching and their lecture structure was designed very poorly.
In conclusion, I would say this program is still considered young and has lots of things to improve even though the executive board is trying its best. All in all, I wouldn't recommend studying this program at this institute if a high level of education is expected.

- International program, access to Institut für Energysystemtechnik, field trips, seminars
- Poor organization, low range of courses, high costs of study
Wie gut ist deine Hochschule digital aufgestellt?
I would say the university is very well digitally positioned. They have their own service webmail and use Moodle dashboard in addition to the official website for all sorts of education and information purpose work.
- Almost all of the important documents are available online.
- It is possible to register online for seminars and lectures.
- It is rather easy to reach professors and lecturers online or set meetings with them.
