Excellent program
The Groups at our insitute are excellent and the atmosphere is so nice, people are so chill and focused. Really recommend it. As was mentioned in other reviews, due to the small group sizes you will have excellent relations with the Profs and lecturers. This is really nice and you will benefit a lot from that.
The program really is about the most recent advances in the field of biophysics and we are trained to become passionate researchers. In the first semester you basically are introduced to the current state of the field and learn the basics, e.g in Biological Physics, Experimental Methods, Bionanotech etc.
Starting with the Summer term (2nd semster) you will discuss recent papers every week, make presentations and learn Advanced Concept, such that you really immerse yourself in the field and current research. I love it.
Additionally, there are very interesting scientific talks every week, with renowned scientist from all over the world. This is at the Cluster of Excellence (Where you will study), the Max-Planck institute for Cell Biology and Generics as well as the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems, where you will also have lectures. Great talks and courses. Highly recommend it.

Für mich ist der Campus ein zweites Zuhause. -
Ich habe nie ein Problem damit, einen Sitzplatz im Hörsaal zu finden. -
Mit den Öffnungszeiten des Sekretariats bin ich sehr zufrieden. -
Ich habe hier Freunde fürs Leben gefunden. -
Für mich war es sehr einfach, Anschluss in der Hochschule zu finden. -
