Would not recommend
I don't feel like I have acquired useful skills nor was trained in relevant tools during the program. We learned a lot about learning theories, psychology, scientific writing, we took part in irrelevant elective IT courses, and had many many group works, but none of this is really helping me for my future career. Mit der Lerntechnologie vertraut werden
Der Masterstudiengang im Educational Technologie ist ein einzigartiger Studiengang in Deutschland. Die Kombination aus Psychologie, Bildungswissenschaft und Technologie hilft den Studenten, die Herausforderungen von Online-Learning und Lernmotivation zu überwältigen und ,,zukunftbereit" zu sein. Ich glaube, computergestütztes Lernen stellt die Zukunft des Lernens dar, und ich fühle mich sicher, damit umzugehen.
Practical experience with digital learning design
With a lot of projects, I have gained a lot practical experience with the program. Like digital tools for making videos and authoring tools for elearning creation. The program also provides a good foundation for theories regarding instructional design.
Good but lacking organization
I’ve learned many new things regarding edutech, however, organization within the masters is lacking. There are mandatory courses that were not necessary for me (because I’ve already covered those exact same topics during my bachelor of psychology in Colombia) and just felt like loosing a bit of time.
In spite of this, the practical courses and design classes are very productive and worth taking.
