The course study is well thought out. From the first semester you learn the basics and progress to the next level before you have greater flexibility to choose your courses within the 3rd semester. While this is exceptional and keeps students on track to graduate it can be challenging for students who fall behind or fail a course as they must continue the program and take the next level before they have the opportunity to retake their failed course. This leads to the second point of how challenging the courses are- this varies highly based upon the lecturer with many courses being fine if you put work in but others being near impossible. There is also a hidden 'trick' where if you have the old quizzes of former students you have an increased chance of success-however not all students learn about these in time or have access to these materials. The class size is small which allows for close relations to the professors and almost all courses utilize powerpoint lectures and blackboard notes. They do not use online resources or provide online grades but this is more do to a lack of infrastructure from Jacobs not the professors. The lecturers continually update their slides and information so that we are learning about new scientific discoveries and methods. The lab courses are fantastic with exceptional equipment, study programs, and labs that allow for hands on in-depth learning at a reasonable pace. The classes are challenging, engaging, and prepare students for future labs.

Den WLAN Empfang auf dem Campus finde ich gut.
