Berufsbegleitendes Studium
The program is composed of nine modules, including the capstone project.
- Economic and Social Foundations of Global Businesses
- Ethically Competing in Global Businesses
- Organizing and Managing Global Operations
- Developing Valuable Products for Customers and Society
- Sustainable Supply Chain Operations
- Leveraging Information for Better Decisions (Study Trip to Tongji University)
- Managing Supply Chains for Value (Study Trip to the Ohio State University)
- Organizational Behavior and Leadership
- Master Thesis (capstone project)
The Admission Requirements to study for the Master of Business Administration in Leadership & Supply Chain Management are:
A bachelor’s degree* or equivalent from a recognized university or college 3 years of work experience (managerial experience is recommended) English proficiency proven by TOEFL (iBT: 90) or IELTS (band 6.5) or CAE/CPE (grade C). The TOEFL, IELTS or an equivalent certificate must not be older than2 years at the time of submitting the application. All fields of study may qualify for admission. If the applicant does not hold a first academic degree, admission may be made subject to the condition that the applicant takes an entrance examination (a passing grade on the GMAT).
2 international study trips:
- China and USA
The program is an eighteen-month long part-time program mixing classroom work with team based projects. Two international trips are integrated into the curriculum to provide the students with background information on how other cultures learn and work. A capstone project (thesis) based on a real world problem of importance to the student and their employer integrates the knowledge developed throughout the program and provides the student with a transition from learning to actual practice.
Our MBA in Leadership and Supply Chain Management focuses on training students to become leaders that create true, sustainable value for their organizations, their society and themselves. The program covers all subject areas of business administration. The courses delivered align with KLU’s key competence areas: Digital Transformation, Creating Value and Sustainability.

KLU offers a variety of scholarships for MBA applicants.
If your company is a member of the networks AGA, BVL or LIHH, KLU offers one 50% scholarship each, that you can apply for.
Graduates from Common Purpose programs are offered a 50 % scholarship. If you’ve completed one of the programs, you can apply for this scholarship.
Furthermore, KLU offers a 50 % regional scholarship for applicants from developing countries, as well as a 50 % scholarship for applicants who work in the humanitarian sector for NGO’s.

Exzellente Leadership Module
Neben den wichtigsten und fundierten Grundlagen des Supply Chain Managements (vor allem für eher Branchenfremde interessant/ relevant) waren vor allem die Leadership Module von höchster Qualität. Die Kurse waren sehr gut vorbereitet und die Professoren und Dozenten durchweg sehr kompetent und motiviert. Gut war auch die Durchmischung mit fachlichen, "akademischen" Inhalten und Modulen, die sich mehr auf die eigene Reflektion und Persönlichkeitsentwicklung konzentrieren.

Multikulturell, persönlich und höchste Qualität
Die kleinen Kurse und engagierten Profs sorgen für eine angenehme und persönliche Lern-Atmosphere. Die Module behandeln aktuelle und zukunftsorientierte Themen und sind gut durchdacht.
Obwohl mein Kurs kurz nach dem Beginn der Corona Pandemie gestartet ist, hat das MBA Team einen super Job gemacht, das Program auf ein Online Format umzustellen.
Alles in allem ist das Studium sehr empfehlenswert!

Top Studium trotz Corona-Zeit
Durch die Pandemie waren wir nur wenige Male in der Uni vor Ort, aber da gibt es eine Top Ausstattung und tolle Räumlichkeiten. Die sehr kompetente Dozenten und spannende Lerninhalte, die sehr abwechslungsreich vermittelt wurden, haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Den Fokus auf das Thema Leadership finde ich ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Probleme, die durch die Pandemie entstanden sind, wurden immer flexibel gelöst!
