I am 2nd year Student at Jacobs university Bremen from Nepal. Overall, My experiences here is quite good. Teaching and learning ways here, I must say pretty impressive. Sometimes we have some technical hiccups but I guess it’s normal. Apart from that lab and materials here are satisfactory. Being a part of diverse community I realize that unity in diversity is something really beautiful term. Apart from everything I found little bit language barrier in Bremen as most of the people outside barely speak English and here in the university we speak and learn in English. About the on campus facilities, I believe everything is perfect except the internet and foods in the servery. Jacobs has been trying its best to give us best every way possible. Now, we have new investors, so I am really excited to see what Jacobs has to offer us and upcoming freshman.

Wie reagiert deine Hochschule auf die Corona-Krise? University is very serious about the on going pandemic globally. The 3G rule are implemented and they check each and every students before entering lectures hall if they are vaccinated,tested negetive or cured. It’s mandatory to use Luca app and wear the face masks whenever you enter. They have put hand sanitizer in front of lecture halls, entrance and library. During my first year everything was online but now it’s in person since we have 0 cases on campus. But the exam was in person maintaining proper social distance. They also forbid us from party and get together.So I must say they are pretty serious about the on going pandemic that is happening globally and we each of students are trying our best to follow every rules for the betterment of the world.

Auf dem Campus fühle ich mich meistens wohl.
Ich finde immer einen Parkplatz.
Für mich ist hier partymäßig gar nichts los.
Ich finde es schade, dass es gar kein Sportangebot für Studenten gibt.
Die Ausstattung der Seminarräume und Hörsäle könnte meiner Meinung nach moderner sein.
Mit den Öffnungszeiten des Sekretariats bin ich sehr zufrieden.
Leider gibt es keine Klimaanlagen in den Hörsälen.
Für mich zählt unsere Hochschule ganz klar zur Elite.
Ich glaube, der gesamte Campus ist barrierefrei.
Auch wenn ich Student bin, gehe ich nicht jede Woche feiern.
Die Wohnungssuche war echt schwierig.
Ich empfinde die Notenvergabe als stets gerecht.
Ein paar meiner Dozenten kommen sogar aus der Praxis.
Leider stellen nur manche Dozenten ihre Skripte online bereit.
Ich benötige meistens etwas Glück, um in einen Wunschkurs zu kommen.
Für meine Klausuren lerne ich meist alleine.
Ich habe während der Studienzeit ein Praktikum gemacht oder geplant.
Ich ernähre mich vegetarisch.
Die meisten meiner Kommilitonen bleiben auch am Wochenende in der Umgebung und pendeln nicht in die Heimat.
In den Semesterferien fahre ich nicht in den Urlaub.
