The Karl's Master's program has been a good experience for me so far. It has a lot of room for improvement. However, for my purpose of choosing this program, it has met my expectations for the most part. The three best parts about it are as follows:

Philosophy - To me the best part about Karl's is it's philosophy of business studies. In comparison with other programs, there is a strong focus on questioning existing norms and rules, understanding global ethical implications of business decisions, and discussing intercultural perspectives.

Small University - And by small, I mean really small. I came from a university of about 2,000 students and I thought that was small. But when I came to Karl's, my definition of small changed. I am not really sure how many students are currently enrolled, but in my program we are about 17 students. This has it's advantages because we get to really work on a closed-knit community and able to build meaningful experiences with our mentors and professors on a personal level. You won't be just another student in this University, you can expect that your voice will be heard. (With that said, you must also be proactive in seeking out support whenever you want to change or start something like an initiative).

Feedback culture - The Karl's spirit is very start-up oriented. If and when you want to change or improve something, they are very open and willing to learn from every student's feedback.

The disadvantages:
Language Courses - In my experience, the language courses I have took here (German B1-B2) have been poor. This is too bad because I believe students should be prepared to be fluent in German by graduation time.

Organization - Once in a while, some organizational aspects were not super smooth. Nonetheless, each semester it got better.
