Brilliant experience

The MFA in Public Art has attracted many bright minds from around the world. Not only do we come from different countries, but we also come from different disciplines such as architecture, design, sociology, and of course, art. We came because we saw the uniqueness of the programme in its understanding that art can act across fields in an interdisciplinary manner. Our education has allowed us to learn from each other as well as pave the path toward art outside the confines of traditional gallery spaces. In this vein, students in the MFA have always been keen to be a part of the Bauhaus and Weimar community by contributing their international perspectives, whether it be introducing other students to the realities of our home countries in organised events such as Culture Night, or just through the simple day to day interactions with each other.
