Couldn’t ask for more:-)

The open halls within the building, the staff members and lecturers who can be approached at any time with any concern, as well as the open-minded and interesting students which have become friends for life over time create a truly liberal, inspirational, and open but safe atmosphere to study. The study program is very interdisciplinary incorporating a diverse set of perspectives and focusing on the student’s ability to critically reflect on varying subjects. In general, the university follows rather alternative teaching methods including many practical approaches such as the community projects, vivid discussions, or final exams in the form of presentations. Like this, students are given the opportunity to personally grow and further develop their soft skills. Another crucial factor is the Karl’s internationality which gives the students not only the chance to meet friends from all over the world but to incorporate different languages as well as a semester abroad into one’s studies. The university supports the students in everything, reacts to feedback, and enables communication on eye-level. I don’t take it for granted that we can call our lecturers by their first names and address our concerns anytime and I am very grateful for that. All in all, I feel well prepared for my future life, have the feeling I have learned and grown a lot, and feel like at home with my Karls family. I’d always chose studying International Relations and the Karlshochschule again!:-)
