Good grades require hard work!

In retrospect, I appreciate MBS so much more than during my presence. My MBS degree enabled me to join one of the TOP 15 universities in the world for my Master's degree.
Since my Master's I have come to the conclusion that MBS has prepared me optimally in every aspect. When I compare MBS with this university or public universities in Germany, I come to the conclusion that MBS is much more in-depth, especially in quantitative subjects. The only suggestion for improvement at this point is to go into a little more detail in Economics. While many students from other universities struggle, most of it is more like a repetition for me.
The lecturers are not theorists but practitioners and know what is important in real life. Thus, you are prepared optimally for work life, especially because of all the numerous presentations. The weighting of theory and practice seems very appropriate to me! The numerous practical experiences and projects have enormously increased the self-confidence of all students in my year and that is a real competitive advantage when it comes to applications. The courses and projects are vivid, practical and exciting. The supervision is much better and much more individual due to the size of the class. The equipment of MBS is clean and modern. The equipment works reliably. Only the WiFi causes problems sometimes.
Due to its size, the library is of course smaller than that of public universities, and especially in the examination phase, additional rooms would not be bad. However, this never had a huge impact on my experience or performance. Furthermore, various digital platforms for access to research databases, e-journals, magazine subscriptions, ebooks and discovery services for academic libraries, public libraries, etc. are provided. There's no downside here.
In contrast to other universities, the grading is far more transparent, fair and not so "diluted": If you are hard working and good, you get a fair chance to get good grades. However, you also fail quickly if you are not and that's the way it should be. You can't maneuver here: You don't get anything for free. Only the preparation is better. You only get good grades if you have earned them honestly. The studies have a high workload, are exhausting and demanding but feasible.
In summary, I can only say that many people do wrong with their prejudices about MBS and most likely they have never been students, otherwise they would know the reality. Based on my experiences at various high-ranked universities, I can only conclude the opposite: MBS is more demanding and of better quality than many other institutions. I would chose MBS again anytime and can only warmly recommend it to anyone who is ambitious and hard-working. You won't be disappointed. In my opinion the Bachelor is worth its money.
