The bridge between borders
Studying International Business and Economics has been a total eye-opener for me. It’s way more than just learning how money moves, it’s about understanding how a political shift on one side of the world can completely change a business strategy on the other. I've realized that to succeed, you have to be part mathematician and part diplomat balancing cold hard data with the cultural "vibe" of different markets. It’s definitely a challenge, but it’s cool finally seeing how all the pieces of the global economy actually fit together.

Wie gut ist deine Hochschule digital aufgestellt?
Even though we’re tucked away in the Thuringian Forest, Schmalkalden is surprisingly high-tech. Between the smooth online portals and the digital resources for our IBE projects, I feel totally connected to the global market from my laptop. It’s that perfect mix of a cozy campus vibe with a digital setup that actually keeps up with the modern business world.
