Das Geld Wert
Viel Geld für wenig Leistung
Unfortunately not what I expected. We pay quite some money for studying there, yet I do not feel like my money is put in the right places, and sometimes the finances there are questionable at least. During the now reaching 2 years of Corona Online University, we still had to pay the full amount of 600€ a month, even though the university was empty and thus the costs for electricity and water should be much lower. Even more so, the university started to share some of our classrooms with another school, so why wasn't the fee reduced (we asked for a reduction due to corona multiple times, and where turned down). Also, why do I have to pay the full amount when I am away during my mandatory internship for 5 months now? I am not having any lectures, I am not on campus or using any of the facilities as I am basically not on campus and not actively studying.
People are usually friendly here, but as soon as you ask them about finances or criticize them in any way they become unfriendly. I started to study here, as the classes were small, lectures are taught in English and I thought then money would be well invested in us students (as they call themselves "non profit") but I would honestly not study here again and I do not want to do my masters at this school.
Also that you have to pay for printing stuff even though you pay that much, and the university on top of that is not part of the "Studentenwerk" which offers many programs, benefits etc. I am underwhelmed by this facility.
If you have rich parents (which most of the students here apparently do), sure go for it, but if you have to get a loan to study here I do not recommend so.

- International School with many nationalities, taught in English
- Intransparent Finances, No sympathy for working while studies, poorly organized
Wie reagiert deine Hochschule auf die Corona-Krise?
It was ok so far, can't say if they did better or worse then other universities...
First 6 months were a mess though.
