Viel gelernt, nichts bereut!
Life changing experience for me
Hi, My name is Amartya a.k.a Ronnie. I started studying M.Sc. Applied Entrepreneurship in 2022 and I must say, this course and university has changed my life completely and for the better. I learned so much across so many different fields and disciplines, something I could never Imagine from any course, anywhere. It is a truly international atmosphere where you meet and blend in with people from various backgrounds, cultures and nationalities. I am blessed for the friends I found in the form of my classmates, who are nothing less than pure gems, caring, helpful, empathetic and severely talented. The faculty in also filled with extremely knowledgeable individuals who would go above and beyond for their students' success. Prof. Dr. Hunold is the best teacher and mentor I have ever had and has gone, several times, out of his way to help and guide me, even when it was beyond of his professional duties. Be it including me in his 'Science Slam 2023' competition, which I won with him (a little bit of bragging ;-p) or finding working student opportunities for me. Prof. Dr. Welling and coach Saurav were always there to help and sort out queries aswell. The teachers, lecturers, coaches try their best to make it easy for students to learn and adapt to this rather unorthodox course. The university also offers state of the art facilities, such as labs and additional courses across a variety of disciplines. That is perhaps and most beautiful aspect of this course, there are no boundaries, if you want to learn, you can learn anything and everything here. Not everything was sunshine and roses though, I believe the curriculum could have been a bit more optimised, and maybe a bit more exposer to partner companies and updates about different state run programmes for founders could be better. All in all i am truly blessed and appreciative of everything that this course and the university and given me and am immensely happy that I had the opportunity to study and be a part of TH OWL and the Applied Entrepreneurship programme.
