My motivation for Electrical Engineering Studies
The study program “Electrical Engineering and Information Technology” at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) really interests me because of its strong practical focus and well-structured curriculum. Although I have not yet studied there, I have explored the program in detail and can clearly imagine myself as a student in this field.
What I find especially appealing is how the program begins with a solid foundation in subjects like mathematics, physics, and programming. I know that these subjects can be challenging, particularly mathematics, but I also see this as an opportunity to improve my problem-solving skills and build a strong technical base. I appreciate that HAW Hamburg offers preparatory courses, which shows that the university supports students in adapting to the academic level.
Another aspect that I personally like is the practical orientation of the program. I learn best when I can apply theory to real-life situations, so the laboratory work and project-based learning really stand out to me. I believe that working on real engineering problems would not only deepen my understanding but also keep me motivated throughout my studies.
The compulsory internship is also very important to me. Gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment will help me understand the industry better and prepare me for my future career. I am particularly interested in areas such as automation and digital systems, and I see this program as a great pathway into these fields.
