Excellent, would choose again

My experiences with this degree programme have been nothing but positive. The lecture and seminar contents are interesting, encourage critical and interdisciplinary thinking and are chosen specifically to prepare you for a further path in developmental research. Courses can be demanding but if you are willing to put in the necessary effort will be enriching your knowledge extensively. Plenty of class time is used for discussions of various topics, so be prepared to form your own opinions and expand them constantly. If you are looking for a master's consisting largely of reading textbooks and studying for dozens of tests, you won't enjoy this one.
The programme is still relatively new and all lecturers are very open for constructive criticism, as well as incredibly helpful in all regards. Their cooperation with various research institutions around Leipzig (and elsewhere) will only benefit you!
If you are interested in developmental psychology and research, this is an excellent choice and if I had to choose again whether to study here or not, I definitely would.
