Great but too vast in specifications

The studies are great but I think it is very hard for students to specialize as you can literally do anything, from Game Design to Coding Development to Communication Design, Interior Architecture and Graphic Design. It is high likely to become a design generalist instead of a specialized expert in one area, i.e. Store Design or Graphic Design.

I wish students would be helped better to specialize early and build expertise in one specific design area rather than gather knowledge in a vast variety of different job areas covering architecture , graphics design and store design.
