Colloquium
The MSc Social and Economic Data Science (SEDS) is an interdisciplinary Master program at the interface between the social and behavioural sciences, computer science and statistics. The program is aimed at motivated applicants with a Bachelor's degree in one of the participating disciplines. Basic knowledge of probability theory and statistics is required. Knowledge of at least one programming language is an advantage, as is initial experience in quantitative social and behavioural research. The aim of the program is to enable students with diverse professional and personal backgrounds to tackle complex social challenges using data science methods.

Beste Entscheidung
Für mich wars der perfekte Studiengang. Die Inhalte konnte man sich größtenteils nach seinen Interessen zusammensuchen. Der Kontakt mit den Dozenten hat allen sehr weitergeholfen. Die Stimmung im Studiengang selber war der Hammer und die Verwaltung des Studienganges hat einen immer perfekt begleitet.

Interessanter und zukunftsorientierter Studiengang
Das SEDS Studium ist sehr gut organisiert, die Inhalte sind am Zahn der Zeit und greifen aktuelle Themen auf. Besonders gut finde ich, dass man die Lehrveranstaltungen flexibel wählen kann und so eigene Schwerpunkte setzen kann. Die Lehrpersonen sind sehr nahbar und gut erreichbar, wodurch immer wieder spannende Diskussionen und Ideenaustausch entstehen. Flexibles Studium mit starken Grundlagen
Der Studiengang überzeugt vor allem durch seine Flexibilität. Es ist möglich, Veranstaltungen aus unterschiedlichen Fachbereichen zu wählen und so individuelle Interessen gezielt zu vertiefen. Dadurch kann man sich sein Studium sehr frei und nach eigenen Zielen gestalten.
Auch die Inhalte der Vorlesungen sind insgesamt gut strukturiert und bieten eine solide Grundlage in relevanten Themenbereichen.
Flexibles Studium
Ich bin mit dem Master sehr zufrieden. Besonders schätze ich die Flexibilität des Programms, da man verschiedene Bereiche ausprobieren und sich in den Themen vertiefen kann, die einen am meisten interessieren. Der Lehrplan ist aktuell und praxisnah, und insgesamt bereitet das Studium sehr gut auf den Arbeitsmarkt vor.
