I would rate Paderborn University as very well digitally positioned. In my experience, most important study-related processes are available online. PAUL is used for course registration and managing academic information, while PANDA provides learning materials, assignments, communication, and online learning. The university also provides campus-wide Wi-Fi, VPN access, Microsoft 365, cloud storage, video services, and digital examination platforms.
For my studies in Computer Science, these digital services are especially useful because many courses involve programming, online materials, collaborative work, and digital submissions. Overall, I find the university’s digital infrastructure reliable and convenient, although having all services more closely integrated into one platform would make the experience even better.
