Hands-on Learning: My Paderborn MSCS
Studying Computer Science at the University of Paderborn has been highly rewarding. The curriculum offers incredible flexibility, allowing me to tailor my modules around my specific interest areas. I especially value the mandatory one-year project group, which provides invaluable hands-on teamwork and replicates real-world software engineering challenges. While the theoretical modules and mathematics are highly demanding, the university provides excellent digital infrastructure and a highly supportive campus community to help students succeed.
Wie gut ist deine Hochschule digital aufgestellt?
The University of Paderborn is exceptionally well-equipped digitally, offering a seamless and efficient online environment for Computer Science students. Through centralized platforms like PANDA and integrated administration systems, everything from course materials to exam registration is handled completely paperless. The Central IT and Media Services (ZIM) ensures fast, campus-wide eduroam Wi-Fi and highly stable VPN access, allowing for easy remote studying. Additionally, the university provides excellent digital access to massive library databases and past exam archives, alongside high-performance computing infrastructure that directly supports advanced research and practical project work.

Den WLAN Empfang auf dem Campus finde ich gut. -
Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln finde ich sehr gut. -
