There are many subjects that are not necessary (or thought in a wrong manner, not corresponding to syllabus) and many subjects that are essential for biotechnology study course are missing (f.e. bioinformatics, more maths and molecular biology would be nice as well).

The quality of lectures/labs highly depends on the instructor. Some of them are really good, while some are beyond tragic.

When it comes to writing bachelor thesis, it is really hard to writer at university, so I would recommend to look for a thesis in industry. If you are lucky, you will find a Professor that you will offer you a topic that you can do in the university, other constraints will appear such as lack of equipment and its availability.

The organisation of the faculty is also questionable and many workers seem to be incompetent, at least when you speak English with them.
