The study in technical university is tough
Very interesting
Automation is the future. I like it a lot. Broadly speaking, TU Dortmund - as the „Technical“ part of the name hints at - is usually very good at all STEM disciplines offered (science - including the natural sciences, technology, engineering and maths + CS), but is less focused on other fields, where some programs do not even exist (e.g., you can‘t study medicine at TU Dortmund, but you can study medical technology as a mix of medicine and especially electrical engineering) or are comparatively small (I think only about 60 psychology freshmen are taken in each year - out of 1,500+ applications). The „less focused“ does not mean „not good at“ (I honestly cannot judge the quality of many programs from firsthand experience!), but „less focus on it“ may translate to „fewer professors, which may mean less breadth of cope, but also results in a lower number of students“.
